Patient education leaflets feature content consistent with Lexicomp drug information and respected physician reference resource, UpToDate®. Leaflets cover topics including medications (adult and pediatric), diseases and conditions, labs and procedures, natural products, discharge instructions, dental topics, occupational and physical therapy, and health and wellness. The patient education library features more than 7,400 leaflets in English and Spanish, with more than half of those translated into all 19 languages offered by Wolters Kluwer Clinical Drug Information, and content written at an accessible readability level, allowing clinicians to accommodate a diverse patient population.


Our patient education leaflets support compliance with Joint Commission standards and cover thousands of medications, diseases, procedures, discharge instructions, and more. Additional benefits include:

  • Written in an easy-to-read formation (5th-to-7th-grade reading level)
  • Available in up to 19 languages
  • Promotes treatment compliance, health literacy, and enhanced patient safety. It also allows clinicians to:
    • Search by medication, condition, lab/procedure, and other topics of interest
    • Include a customized cover page with the patient's name and packet contents
    • Include institution name and contact information
  • Adult- and pediatric-specific leaflets are available
  • Covers more than 3,500 medications and more than 3,900 diseases/conditions, labs/procedures, discharge instructions, natural products, occupation/physical therapy, dental topics, and healthy living.
